Best Farmers Markets Near Jupiter, Tequesta, Hobe Sound & Palm Beach Gardens

Kristin Wallace  |  September 30, 2026

One of the perks of living in the Jupiter area is how easy it is to spend a weekend morning outside. Farmers markets and local markets have become part of that lifestyle, with options stretching from Hobe Sound south through Tequesta, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens.

Whether you are looking for fresh produce, baked goods, plants, locally made products or simply somewhere to walk around with a coffee, these are several local markets worth knowing about.

Hobe Sound Farmers Market

Where: 1425 SE Bridge Road, Hobe Sound
When: Saturdays and Sundays, 9 AM–2 PM

The Hobe Sound Farmers Market is much more than a traditional farmers market. Located on a working farm, it has become a fun weekend destination where you can shop local vendors and spend a few hours enjoying the property.

Along with fresh produce, plants, baked goods, specialty foods and locally made products, the market features live animals and a petting zoo, making it especially fun to walk around and explore. There is also a gem mining area, where visitors can sift through material to uncover different stones and gems.

Food is a big part of the experience as well. Food trucks and other food vendors rotate through the market, and there is often live music, giving it a relaxed outdoor atmosphere where you can grab something to eat and stay awhile.

Because of the farm setting and activities, Hobe Sound Farmers Market feels more like a weekend outing than a quick stop for groceries. It is a great example of the slightly more laid-back, spacious feel you find as you head north from Jupiter into Hobe Sound.

The Tequesta Market

Where: Gallery Square North, 361 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta
When: Saturdays, 9 AM–1 PM

The Tequesta Market is a smaller community market right in the heart of the Village of Tequesta.

Formerly known as the Tequesta Farmers Market, the market is now held at Gallery Square North on Tequesta Drive. Vendors can include fresh foods, produce, baked goods, plants, specialty products and locally made items.

Its location is part of the appeal. You can stop at the market and then easily continue into Jupiter or around Tequesta for breakfast, lunch, shopping, the playground or a day near the water.

The current 2026 schedule lists the market on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Because local market schedules can occasionally change for weather, holidays or special events, it is a good idea to confirm before making a special trip.

The Market at Harbourside Place in Jupiter

Harbourside Place

Where: 200 N US Highway 1, Jupiter
When: Sundays, 10 AM–3 PM
2026–27 Season: October 4, 2026–May 30, 2027

If you want a market with a distinctly Jupiter setting, The Market at Harbourside is hard to beat.

Located directly along the Intracoastal, the market combines local shopping with the waterfront atmosphere of Harbourside Place. The 2026–27 market is expected to include local artists, jewelry, ceramics, photography, home goods, apparel, plants, wellness products, baked goods and specialty foods.

This isn't strictly a traditional produce-focused farmers market. It is more of a curated local makers and lifestyle market, which makes it easy to combine with brunch, a walk along the Riverwalk or time by the water.

There is also Sunday morning yoga at the amphitheater before the market opens.

For the 2026–27 season, Harbourside lists the market every Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM, beginning October 4.

The Gardens GreenMarket in Palm Beach Gardens

Where: Palm Beach Gardens City Hall Municipal Campus, 10500 N. Military Trail
When: Sundays, 8 AM–1 PM

Palm Beach Gardens also has a substantial weekly market: The Gardens GreenMarket.

The GreenMarket includes fresh produce along with dairy products, honey, pastries, prepared foods, flowers, cheese, spices and handmade products. There is seating as well as live entertainment, making it another market where people tend to stay awhile rather than simply shop and leave.

The 2026–27 main season begins October 4, 2026 and runs through May 30, 2027. The City of Palm Beach Gardens also operates a summer market, making this one of the more consistent local market options throughout the year.

One thing to know before you go: the city asks visitors to leave pets at home.

Which Local Farmers Market Should You Visit?

Each has a slightly different feel.

Hobe Sound Farmers Market is a good choice if you want the full farm experience along with vendors and activities.

The Tequesta Market has a smaller, local neighborhood feel in the center of Tequesta.

The Market at Harbourside is a great choice if you want to combine a market with Jupiter's waterfront, restaurants and Riverwalk.

The Gardens GreenMarket offers one of the area's larger selections of produce, food, flowers and local vendors.

Of course, there is no reason to pick only one. With markets running on both Saturdays and Sundays, visiting them is an easy way to explore the different communities around northern Palm Beach County and southern Martin County.

Farmers Markets and the Jupiter-Area Lifestyle

Local markets are a small detail, but they are also a good example of what people enjoy about living in this part of South Florida.

From a working farm in Hobe Sound to a Saturday morning in Tequesta and Sunday markets along the Jupiter waterfront and in Palm Beach Gardens, there are plenty of opportunities to shop locally and spend time outside throughout the year.

For someone considering a move to the area, visiting a market can also be an easy way to get a feel for the personality of each community beyond simply touring homes.
